The term “project” can refer to campaigns, classes, courses, curriculum, deployments, developments, digital, education, eLearning, immersive, implementations, initiatives, interventions, learnings, lessons, models, modules, programs, seminars, solutions, strategies, technologies, trainings, workshops, virtual reality etc.

Enterprise projects can be enterprise-wide or targeted to a specific group. Industry-specific projects can be industry-wide or targeted to an industry subgroup. A project can be submitted in multiple categories.

Who is eligible to enter the awards? The awards are open to individuals, teams, and enterprises from the corporate, private, public service, education, non-profit, and community sectors worldwide, regardless of their size. Vendors can enter a project on behalf of a client with the client’s endorsement. The vendor application must specify the client.

A team (2 or more) can be from one or more enterprises, including vendor companies. All work arrangements (e.g., on-off-site, hybrid, regular, flexible, etc.) are recognised.

The term “talent” can refer to a learner, participant, employee, worker, instructor, coach, mentor, tutor, manager, leader, executive, educator, designer, technologist, specialist, consultant, expert, supervisor, owner, professional, staff, student, graduate, trainer, academic, teacher, lecturer, trainee, apprentice, etc.

Specific industries include (e.g., agriculture, architecture/buildings, automotive, aviation/aerospace, banking/finance, construction, defence (land/sea/air), education/training, emergency services, energy (electric/oil/gas/water), engineering (civil/industrial), environment/sustainability, gaming/entertainment, healthcare/wellbeing, hospitality (food/beverage), information/media, IT/telecom, manufacturing (heavy/light), maritime/fisheries (ports/shipping), medical (pharma/technology), mining/resources, policing/safety, retail/consumer, sport, tourism/recreation, transport/logistics, urban design (civic/public, etc.)

Criteria format guides (CFG) presented in brackets for each criterion are optional and can be used to customise your entry. Nonetheless, you are free to shape the CFG that best meets the requirements of your project. The word count does not include spaces.

1. Present the project’s background (e.g., context, talent targeted, specific tech requirements, learning outcomes, and stakeholder expectations). 500 words maximum; score out of 20 points.
2. Explain the project’s plan (e.g., scope, design, development, HR inputs, tech innovation and implementation strategy). 500 words maximum; score out of 20 points.
3. Describe the project’s implementation (e.g., HR capabilities, tech innovation and strategy execution). 500 words maximum; score out of 30 points.
4. Review the project’s effectiveness (e.g., performance, strategy outcomes, ROI impacts and stakeholder feedback). 500 words maximum; score out of 30 points.

Applications are judged on merit using a scorecard, not comparatively. Projects, teams, and solutions are unique to each enterprise (small, medium, or large) and are judged within their context. Entries are awarded based on their specific scores, and multiple entries in each category may receive awards. An entry needs to score 60 or more points to be awarded.

Content Curation

This award focuses on a content curation project that an enterprise implemented in which digital learning content has been aggregated from a variety of sources, analysed, structured, and then presented online in a systematized design.

Customer Experience

This award focuses on a customer experience training project that an enterprise implemented to deliver targeted outcomes on the brand’s promise and increase the effectiveness of customer service representatives.

Emergency Training

This award focuses on a training project that an enterprise implemented to drive and support talent development in relation to emergency work (e.g., pandemic, crisis, natural disaster settings, etc.). The project can be enterprise-wide, group-specific, or target local, state-wide, or national conditions.

Environmental Education

This award focuses on an environmental training project that an enterprise implemented to drive and support talent development (e.g., impact, management, awareness etc.).

(ESG) Training

This award focuses on an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) training project that an enterprise implemented to explain its ESG strategy and responsibilities to drive and support talent and future business outcomes.

Ethical Training

This award focuses on an ethical training project that an enterprise implemented to drive and support talent development related to conduct, trust, mutual respect, and alignment with professional and company standards, policies, and rules.

Hard Skills Training

This award focuses on a hard skills training project that an enterprise implemented to drive and support talent development (e.g., safety, emergency/risk, trades, machinery, computing, professional expertise, etc.).

This award focuses on a health and safety training project that an enterprise implemented which led to safe and health-oriented performances to drive and support talent development.
