DIRECTIONS

Sofitel Sydney Wentworth is ideally located to Sydney’s most iconic attractions, including the Sydney Opera House,

With the new Martin Place Metro right at our doorstep, as well as easy access to the nearest train, ferry and bus stops,
exploring Sydney has never been more convenient. Additionally, we’re located just twelve kilometers from Sydney’s

AIRPORT INFORMATION  

Kingsford Smith International Airport Sydney is ten kilometres from the hotel.

Sofitel Sydney Wentworth is a 20-minute drive via the Eastern Distributor – toll for north-bound cars.

Limousines, taxis and shuttles for airport or hotel pick up can be organised with the Concierge Desk

DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM AIRPORT

Follow on to the Eastern Distributor – toll for north-bound cars.

Near toll booths select “City North” lane. After paying toll take the Macquarie Street exit.
At the top of the rise off the exit, you will see the State Library on your left and the
Royal Botanic Gardens on your right, and a set of traffic lights.

Proceed through lights across Macquarie Street, and into Bent Street.

Proceed through the next set of lights at Phillip Street and take the next left into Bligh Street.

The Hotel’s main entrance is off Phillip Street. The Hotel building has chargeable on-site valet parking,
which is operated by an independent parking company. This can be accessed via the hotel building from Bligh Street.

TRANSPORT FROM THE AIRPORT

Limousine: Luxury private limousine transfers are available using the Sofitel’s premier limousine service,
Brunel Chauffeur Drive.

Taxi: Taxis available from the airport taxi ranks – travel times are generally 30-40 minutes.

Train: Public train services available from both terminals – travel time approximately 20 minutes to Wynyard,
Circular Quay and St. James Stations.

Shuttle Bus: Shuttle buses are located outside both terminals. These run daily on a regular basis until approximately 8:30pm.
Due to the nature of this service, travel times can range from 30 to 90 minutes.

AWARDS SHOW TICKET INCLUSIONS

Attend the awards ceremony to witness and participate in the live on-stage presentation of the winners.
A three-course dinner will be served at tables during the eventful evening, which will begin with a superb keynote address. TBA

In addition to drinks at the reception, the Awards Show Dinner will feature a three-course meal with waiter service at tables of ten.
Guests will enjoy an entrée, main course, dessert and a choice of beverages, including sparkling/still wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages.

DRESS CODE

The dress code for the LearnX Awards Show is smart casual as a minimum. You can also opt for evening/formal attire if you prefer. Professional photographs will be taken on and off stage in front of two large awards show media walls, so please keep this in mind when selecting your outfit. Men’s shorts or ripped, torn jeans are not considered acceptable by venue management.

BEST DRESSED PRIZE

The principal photographer for our event, Mr. Anthony M. Leong, who is also regarded as one of Australia’s Master Photographers,
will judge and give prizes to the best-dressed male and female guests.

PHOTOSHOOT

LearnX will capture the moments of you, your team, and the Awards Show experience. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate with colleagues, team members, and clients. Photos will be taken throughout the evening and onstage during the presentation with the celebrated, large Awards Show media wall as a backdrop. Selfies are encouraged.

DIETARY

Sydney Sofitel Wentworth requires all guests to confirm that they are over 18 years of age for RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) requirements. Guests under 18 will not be served or permitted to consume alcohol. Dietary Requirements – as advised by Sofitel Sydney Wentworth. They will make every effort to cater for guests with the following dietary requirements at no extra charge (subject to compliance with notification period below): vegetarian, vegan, low gluten, lactose intolerant or allergies. Any other additional special meal requests will incur a 25% surcharge per person. Please note charges may also apply for religious requirements including but not limited to Kosher and Halal requests. Any dietary requests received after 12pm three (3) standard business days prior to the event (Thursday 19th November) will be subject to a $30.00 per person surcharge which must be paid prior to the event. Additional special meals requested by guests on the day of or during the Event cannot be accommodated.
